This code has so many uses, <i>pebble</i>. It can be used as a moving "table" at the top of the board. I can put links in for people to go straight to the daily Check In, or to the Rules, or the Gazette (my current news) etc. It's really very special.
Again, thank you so much. Now I am eagerly awaiting your next amazing code.

Hi, Glitch found (only in IE) and rectified. You should add overflow-x:hidden; To the css #scrlbox part, so it should now look like: #scrlbox { background-image:url('http://i1136.photobucket.com/albums/n494/<i>pebble</i>league/slideshowback.png'); border-color: #FF0000; position:relative; overflow-x:hidden; }
Nothing major , just something that was bugging me when using IE.

lol ! Don't worry about it JJ. It was just something I noticed that bugged me and I thought someone in the future might ask about it, so I fixed it before they asked ! Maybe no-one else would have ever noticed but I thought it better to fix it anyway.....

In what way does that line affect the performance, <i>pebble</i>. Not that I will remember this conversation in a week, lol, but I'm curious. I am an IE user, but about half my members use FF. I always try to be sure I use cross browser codes, I have seen some really hilarious situations where the site owner didn't use that precaution.

It wouldn't affect you JJ with the way you are using it. I was playing around with the code for something on my site in the future and when using it as a news scroller ( very wide ) internet explorer added a horizontal scroll bar in some cases. This line of code stops that happening. In FF (which I'm beginning to like more and more!) this didn't happen at all and the code behaved itself correctly. It's better to have that line in the code just in case. I'd rather fix the glitches before they arise ! One day all browsers will work the same (I hope!)

This is not a plug for my site, but just wanted to show my results, using this code, which was finished around two - three weeks ago: army83.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=vetphotos&action=display&thread=2226By the way, it took myself three plus weeks to put it all together, images and text, that is. Thanks <i>pebble</i>s for one outstanding code!! Note: due to the amount of images, it will take some time, to see all of them. p.s. if this post is not allowed, please remove/delete it. Cheers...

Holy wow! This innovation of yours is pure genius, <i>pebble</i>!! I read how this code works. I'm intrigued... I now am planning something in mind, but it would definitely take some time to prepare. Gotta try this in my test forum first. Sweetness!! I'll be posting in this thread for any support-related questions. The code I use, is located here: Secure Script/HTML in PostsIf you have any questions or need help, please let myself know. FYI: Here is a post that I made back in August 2011: support.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=pbgt&action=display&thread=399510&page=2

That sounds interesting to have HTML and/or Javascript in posts. So that's probably how other forums can put flash games in the OP of a thread then. Depends if I'd find that tricky to use or not, as I'll just have to settle with putting the slideshow in the board header. =3 Thanks aRMY! BTW, this slideshow can be placed inside a popup similar with SubDevo's popup code right here, correct? Would it be possible to have 2 different links that contains their respective popup? Example: popup #1 has the music player, while popup #2 has the slideshow.

Hello LunyRed...
Now you have me wanting to test that idea within the popup code. I don't see why it would not work, but don't quote me on it. j/k
Going to work with this idea in the next few days and see what I come up with. In the mean time, <i>pebble</i> may want to jump in here and give us some thought on it.
Cheers...

Hmmmm..... Yes it should work, if you try it and have problems let me know and I'll see what I can do.
I would advise making the pop up box much bigger than the slideshow to start with and then reducing it down. The diferences between IE and FF may mean it doesn't display the same. Try it and see ! I'll be looking forward to see what you guys come up with. This could be a really neat combination of the two codes if it works!

Using the PopUp Content, I added my input from the Image/text Effect Box Anywhere V2: <div id="popupContent" style="display:none;"> ANY HTML CONTENT HERE </div> and came up with: My Test Site > Click: Testing Slideshow PopUp (bottom)which you will see, the slideshow presentation freezes. When using my input from the above Image/text Effect Box Anywhere: <span id="abcscript" style="display:none;"> ANY HTML CONTENT HERE </span> or my input by itself, the slideshow works great. NOTE: my thought is, that the PopUp Content <div id= is looking for something within the Image/text Effect Box Anywhere, so it can execute the slideshow.
