I'm using 1.0.1 beta. In the tab Permissions, I had it set to 'Staff & Members'. The theme being used is not showing to members. I changed the permission to 'Everyone', with the same negative result. The themes are showing for only Staff members. Really this is not a 'biggie', it was just something I was going to try. Thanks, Speed. You're welcome, There is one more place to check shoe, the permissions that are set on the forum plugins page, see if that is set to everyone / members staff / staff. That needs to be set to members and staff , the plug in itself as explained in the previous post is set to everyone. Oh, also make sure that the plugin is at he very top of the plugin list. That should make it so members as well as staff can see the theme in the mp. Good Luck!

Hi, Speed, I'm trying to get back into adding some bells and whistles and I'm really rusty. I added the plugin, got the ID numbers, added those, added the theme names, have the view to Staff only, the plugin is all the way to the top and enabled. But what I am seeing is "Theme: not entered."
Any suggestions?
Edit: Ok, I changed Themes and it is showing up. Now I need to know why the original theme wasn't, but I bet I figure it out.
Thank you for this plug in, pebble.

Hi J.J., how it seems to work on my forum. It will only show the default theme name until the member comes back to the forum. If they have not been back to the forum since you added the plugin, then it won't show any theme name. Also for some reason i had to put a full stop before the theme name? But it works and i know who is using which them as long as it is a member who hasn't been back to the forum since i added the plugin. G.P. Note* This for still absent of any staff/admin?

Hey speed, thanks for the suggestions. I switched the permissions back to 'Members & Staff'' (it was set at this back before I tried the Everyone setting), and moved the plugin to the very top of the list. As well, I cleared the 'key' for the plugin. Alas, members can still not view theme names under the the mini profile. Only Staff are viewing the theme names. As I mentioned before, this isn't a big issue. It was just a 'nice to have' if I could get it to work.

Hi G.P. It seems to be working well now. It's a handy tool, it's nice to know which types of themes the regulars prefer.

I's been a while since I looked at this plugin, but something is stumping me. Is it possible for the name of each members theme to be made visible to the entire membership? Right now, only the Staff can see the theme names. I can't seem to locate where I can make changes. I think I have a brain burp going here. Hi shoe This is for Version 1.0.1 Beta, If you are using that version, You should be able to go to the plug in and see 3 tabs: About / Permissions / Themes as I have or there may be a 4th tap for text but anyhow,,, Click the permissions tab and make your changes there. What version are you using?
Is there another version of this plugin Speed?

What do you mean, by give it a name, Speed? I'd like to have the original version if it shows everyone's theme in the mini profile. Is a key needed for that version?

The old version does not correct the issue of having members being able to view the themes that others are using.
Thanks anyway, speed.

I'm surprised there isn't another version of this plugin made by someone else, in the plugin library.

It was a custom plug in I requested to pebble for someone I was helping at that time, as they wanted to know who was using what theme, and I asked pebble if this was possible, and he came up with the plugin. We use it on MDV.
