I do tutorials on a my tutorial site and I have the threads sticky but still as the students do them they will not stay in order 1, 2, 3..... is there anyway of keeping them Put where they will not move down the board? Also I noticed something called Falling. What does that do? Would that keep the threads in order?
Thanks Chrissy

If the threads are stickied , they shouldn't be moving anywhere. Maybe if you can give me a link, I'll take a look. Falling : this means that even if someone posts, it wont bump it to the top of the thread list. The threads that are moving, make sure you don't have them set to falling.

chrissystutorials.proboards.com/Right now pebble since I redid alot of my tutorials they will be in Numerical Order. However, before hand even when I had them all as a Sticky post they wouldn't stay in Numerical Order.

Did you get this sorted out christine ? I just looked at the ' Basic Lessons For PSP X4' and they all seem sticky'd and in order.

What would probably need to be done is have where it would remove the automatic bump up to stickied threads and keep them frozen in order and make it admin only moveable. Is that what you would think @pebbleleague

For an example, if you look in the staff board here at IOD, the newer threads that have been commented on are still below the others. Like I say, maybe I'm not understanding properly or Rad has done something clever....

I just did an experiment on a test board and yes the stickied threads will move around when there is a reply made. Add: The only way the threads dont move is if they are locked. Only admins or users in a group are allowed to reply. So if there was no coding and plug in developed the student would have to put in a user group that allows the member in that group to reply to a locked thread in that particular category. Add #2: It can be set up thru the member group for a "Student" to be able to post in a locked thread. Edit: christine if you want to go that route I can tell you how to do it or I can do it myself, unless @pebbleleague has something.
