I think it's an inline style in the html somewhere.
<td class="pad-bottom"><input name="text" required="required" type="text" size="20" value="link"></td>
But I haven't got a clue of its location. Maybe @<i>pebble</i>league can help?

This should be do-able. I'll take a look later today or tomorrow.

Try adding this to your global footer : <script> $(document).ready(function() { $("div.message > a").prepend('<span>➼ </span>') }); </script>
It doesn't seem worth taking a plugin space for this, but if you want it in a plugin, let me know.

I put the above script in the Global Footer here at IOD, but it doesn't seem to be working, @<i>pebble</i>league.

New code that should work everywhere :
<script> $(document).ready(function() { $("div.message").find('a').prepend('<span>➼ </span>') }); </script>
Though I'm still puzzled about that added div in your post!

Though I'm still puzzled about that added div in your post! I just clicked the Link (url) button and added the link. Didn't touch the Text.

Yep! I just added it and then replied to a post on my forum and it didn't work, just the normal link appeared? G.P.
