Thank you very much for your donation of 150.000 ad-free page views. It is very much appreciated. Since the minimum setting is 50.000 page views per month (which is more then enough for us) IOD can be ad-free for the next three months!
On behalve of the Staff and our members, THANKS!

<i>pebble</i> recently provided a solution to a problem and I am posting on this thread just to provide background to the Belle Vue Owners Forum on which I am Admin. I am not too hopeful that you can help with this question and a simple not possible will be understood and accepted. The problem is that we post Time conversions for Times recorded at differeent tracks in the Form of a look up Table as the extract below - Equivalent Times and Rating: TRACK | DIST | | 140 | 130 | 120 | 110 | | 100 | | 90 | 80 | 70 | 60 |
---|
BELLE VUE | 470 | | 27.17 | 27.37 | 27.57 | 27.77 | | 27.97 | | 28.17 | 28.37 | 28.57 | 28.77 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | COVENTRY | 450 | | 26.53 | 26.72 | 26.92 | 27.11 | | 27.31 | | 27.51 | 27.70 | 27.90 | 28.09 | | 485 | | 28.64 | 28.85 | 29.06 | 29.27 | | 29.48 | | 29.69 | 29.90 | 30.11 | 30.32 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | CRAYFORD | 380 | | 22.80 | 22.97 | 23.13 | 23.30 | | 23.47 | | 23.64 | 23.81 | 23.97 | 24.14 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | DONCASTER | 441 | | 26.49 | 26.69 | 26.88 | 27.08 | | 27.27 | | 27.46 | 27.66 | 27.85 | 28.05 | | 483 | | 28.92 | 29.13 | 29.34 | 29.56 | | 29.77 | | 29.98 | 30.20 | 30.41 | 30.62 |
What I would like to do is to have is a Filter system whereby you select from a List a Track and enter a Time and then select another Track from another drop down list and the Equivalent time and Rating appears. I can do this in Excel but doubt that proBoards format will allow for it. Just wondering whether the inspired <i>pebble</i> has the answer given hehas said he know something abour our sport. Hope rather than expect!! Any help - even if its a No No - would be appreciated. PS I have mastered the art of Tabifying as above!!

Hi mycatsname1, I'm going on holiday this wednesday for a couple of weeks so I wiuldn't be able to look at this until then. My first impression is that it wouldn't be possible, without a huge amount of work for you, which sort of defeats the idea of the code. Give this a bump, or better still, create a new thread, in a couple of weeks and we can chat about how you want it to work and if I can do something, I will.

I have the system working on Excel and no surprise if proBoards can't cope.
Have a good holiday - hopefully somewhere sunny!!

Hello! I was just wondering what one would recommend if I had to edit a table after I've already used Tablify. It seems the "Tablify" option is only available when creating a new thread or replying. It's not available if you "Edit." Thank you!

My lot seem to like it thanks, agree on the edit comment. The only go faster stripe for me would be reflecting justification.
Thanks

Sav barbilliards.proboards.com/ reflecting justification ? You mean as you have it in your excel sheet? This plugin wouldn't be able to pick that up automatically. You could add some CSS to your style sheet but the down side of that would be that all tables, whether done by this plugin or other ways, would be affected.
